Answers to Questions from Embassy Students

1. What happens when we meditate:

A Rhema is a verse of Scripture that can be applied to our lives in a personal way. Since “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (II Timothy 3:16), any verse in the Bible could become a Rhema.

As we begin to meditate, the verses we select may not be life changing, however, they will have a cleansing and transforming result in our inner being as we quote them while going to sleep.. Over time, we will be more and more sensitive to the leading of God’s Spirit to discern Rhemas. Only occasionally will we get a major life changing Rhema. Meditation is a daily discipline for growing up to spiritual maturity. Peter compares this process to a new-born baby needing daily food. (I Peter 2:2). Jesus did the same: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word [Rhema] that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Meditation is actually an ongoing fellowship with the Lord using His word for our discussions. He loves to hear His word, He inspired every one on them. Picture yourself talking to him with His word.

2. Cost of an Embassy University education:

“Are there incurred costs associated with university attendance (books, admission fees, cost of the degree being printed, donations, etc.)?”

Answer:

There is no charge for admission to Embassy University, or for any of its online courses, nor for the issuance of degrees. Neither is there any cost for online counselling or encouragement. The only nominal cost would be for a few essential textbooks such as the Daily Rhema Journal and the Comprehensive Counselling Course ($15 each plus shipping) Other textbooks are optional.

3. Requirements for writing and publishing a book for a Ph.D. Degree:

“What is the ‘writing and publishing a book’ requirement for the Ph. D. degree program? Is there a specific word length that is required for the Ph.D. level book publication? Could it be a self-published book? What are the choices when it comes to the book subject?”

Answer:

The book you write will be the direct result of the unimaginable success that God is going to give you for your years of quoting a new verse of Scripture to God every night while going to sleep. Right now, there is no way to imagine what this book will be about or how long it will be. Your reins (gut brain) will instruct you “in the night seasons” (Psalm 16:7). When I began doing this in my youth, I never imagined putting what I learned in a thirty-hour seminar that over 2.5 million youth and adults have attended so far, and writing over 60 related books. The books just keep coming!

4. The pacing of the required courses:

“Are the courses self-paced?”

Answer:

The required courses can be taken according to your schedule. However, the finding and quoting of a new verse of Scripture to God is a daily discipline. It cannot be put off. It is like your daily food. Jesus assures us that we cannot live without it, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word [Rhema] that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).

5. How Embassy University relates to other educational programs:

“I have my Associates degree, and I am currently working on my Bachelor’s degree. Where would I begin in this program?”

Answer:

Embassy University is totally different than any other educational program that we know of. The courses are not compatible to other universities therefore, they cannot be transferred over. Every Embassy student begins at the beginning and builds a portfolio that will benefit him or her for the rest of their lives.

6. The time required to fulfill degree courses:

“How much time should be devoted per degree, and how many courses will there be?

Answer:

Embassy courses are not simply subjects to be checked off on a list, They are exciting experiences that are designed to transform your life. The focus is not on the learning content but on the application of what you learn. This is what you will record in your success portfolio. The number of courses will be related to the results that you will want to see in your life.

7. The length of each semester:

“How long are the semesters?”

Answer:

Embassy does not operate on semesters because our lives are not divided into semesters. It is measured by years. Two years of nightly meditation will result in an Associate of Arts degree. Two more years will bring you a Bachelor of Arts degree. Another two years will earn you a Master of Arts degree and the final three years will produce a Doctor of Philosophy degree. The disciplines that you establish in this program are what God expects of every believer and should be continued for the rest of our lives.
